About me I've made art since I was very little, obsessed with wolves, lions, foxes, leopards- everything wild and free! Very early on I was more of a wild child... in kindergarden I'd catch all the little lizards roaming around on the playground.. I loved 'hunting' them and being an animal. It was a really big part of playtime for me, I would convince my siblings into being a wolfpack with me and we all had our little names. One of the first things I posted on DA was me and my sister's wolf selfs. I think i've been an animal since birth, honestly, but of course with social norms and etc... I went from a very loud outgoing social kid to a more quiet, introverted teen.. and then to an adult who is still trying to reclaim her wildness.
I grew up on the internet. Playing wolfquest, minecraft, animal jam, Littlest pet shop online and whatever animal oriented or involved thing I could get my hands on! Whatever animal media existed [That I had access to] I would find a way to incorporate it into my heart. I was more of a wolves of the beyond sort of girl than a warrior cats girlie but that still never stopped me from playing it on the playground with other girls and clawing everyone who came into our clan territory. I would very often enjoy MLP, I was super into watching and listening to fanfics. Most often they were very... Horny in nature but of course. It was a different era on fandom youtube and you could just listen to MLP porn whenever you wanted! One of my first experiences on the internet in general was finding happy tree friends porn on google when I was 6 or 7 years old [or younger! I was barely sentient during that time due to ADHD and pretty much mainly remember things that excited me >w<]. Which in all honesty was a critically shaping moment, I posted HTF fanfic on wattpad and had a whole notebook novella of flippy & flaky.
I roamed around on facebook, playing happy pets and pet society all the epic games on there. Posting and looking at pokemon groups and making friends within those groups. Eventually moving from those pokemon facebook groups to deviant art in 2015. I think almost all of my physical art before 2015 is lost, but a lot of it is saved on my old deviant art account which I am incredibly thankful for. I was very fickle at times, and would make a bunch of art to put on my walls before tearing them down and tossing them. So much lost that I wish I had kept, in some other world I have logged every single piece I've ever made. Most of my inspo growing up was from youtube, watching Itscarmenjones [now whattheflup], zoophobia from vivziepop, warrior cats animations, mini series involving wolves or even those eeveeloution lovestories. I loved it all...!
In 2019 I started accepting commissions using my mom's paypal and building myself up more as an artist. I was posting under a completely different username and only within the last few years changed my username to Wispyvixen. Partially because with the internet climate at the time and still now... I was nervous to post feral back then but also incredibly anxious to post anything NSFW oriented publically. Every single one of my family members knew my old username! They literally put it on a birthday banner for me one year when I was gifted a wacom tablet!!! So there was a need for a change, I changed it a few times but despite that DA was the way that it was and you could still find someone with their old username. Since then I have fully rebranded. Created a new account alltogether and shaped it into something that feels more comfortable for me, both in a means to express myself however I want through fictional means- but also maintaining a sense of boundaries with family that I have cut contact with. It is 2026 as of writing this, and it's been 7 years since I started doing commissions. I'm so happy that I can share the things that I make as well as have wonderful critters who enjoy what I do. I am incredibly grateful!!
Anyway, you can expect to see more animals, dark stories, needle felting, wood burning, music, all sorts of stuff from me! I make bath kits and soap! I make stickers and paintings!
